Mac is “frozen” | Not Responding




IF the mouse is not moving and the keyboard is not working, you Mac is “frozen” or has “crashed. Here’s how to reset the Mac OS 8.0 or later.


  1. Pressed the “Command-Option-Escape” .
  2. Restart the Mac computer by pressing the Power key or selecting Shut Down on the special menu.
  3. If the steps above won’t work, press these keys: Command-Option-Shift-Power.
  4. To force the restart: press Command-Control-Power.
  5.     If all these won’t work. Unplug the power adapter of the computer from the power outlet.

Resetting an iPhone back to its’ default factory settings

One of the basic features for iPhone is the passcode, also known as the password. This avoids other people from using your iPhone. Now in the event that you forgot your password, then you must reset this.

  • Connect your iPhone to the computer using a USB cord and power off your iPhone.
  • Tunr your iPhone on by holding the power and home button at the same time.
  • Start the iTunes program on your computer and click the summary tab at the top of the screen.
  • Now click “Restore”. This will set your iPhone back to the default factory settings.
You have now successfully unlock your iPhone's passcode!





Resetting a BlackBerry

Resetting a BlackBerry will fix numerous unusual issues. There are two types of reset for BlackBerry phones, the Soft and Hard reset. If your BlackBerry is totally delayed, you can turn it off and remove the battery. If you’re getting a continual problem with it, you can restore it to the factory default settings.

The process of resetting a BlackBerry
  •   Remove the battery cover and remove the battery. Leave it off for at least 30 seconds. Insert the battery back and make sure it is seated properly. Turn On the Blackberry and check if it’s working now.
  •  For resetting the BlackBerry to its default factory settings, select “options” from the menu. Click on “security options” and select the “general settings”. Hit the menu and choose “wipe handheld”. Make sure that all the boxes are check and “continue”. Type in (blackberry) to complete the reset.



Note:
Resetting the BlackBerry will set it to the default factory settings, so make sure to back your files up before resetting.

Most common issues for routers



     First is intermittent wireless connection.
         You are using the device wirelessly; your connection keeps on dropping off. 

    Second is slow wireless internet connection.
         You suddenly experience a very slow to none wireless internet.

    Third, the router is not taking or letting your wireless device connect to the wifi.
         This is when your router is not recognizing your password.

   Router suddenly just stops working and will not allow you to connect to the internet wired or wireless to it.

   Power light of your router is blinking. 
        This is a bad sign for the routers hardware since this indicates a hardware failure.

   This is the most classic one. YOU forgot your password!
         Without the password you can’t modify the settings of your router or connect another wireless device into your   network.

If you do, then you'll need to properly reset your router. Most reset buttons on the router can be found on the back of where you will need to use a pen or paper clip for pressing the button. Resetting the router is quite tricky so here’s what you do.

      I. Press and hold the reset button of the router and hold it for 30 seconds. This will wipe out settings of your router back to the default factory settings.

     II. For routers with blinking power light
          a. Pressed and hold the reset button of the router for 1 minute. While holding the reset button unplug the power    adapter of the router and leave it off for 20 seconds.


NOTE: After you reset the router you should always unplug its power adapter for just a few seconds.
